Nutrient availability in temperate fruit species: new approaches in bacteria and mycorrhizae

Özet
A lot of microorganisms are located in the rhizosphere soil. These microorganisms represent a broad group, including plant growth–promoting rhizobacteria and fungi involved in mycorrhizal relationships, as well as biocontrol agents. These beneficial microorganisms that promote plant growth significantly increase the availability of nutrients such as potassium, phosphorus, nitrogen, iron, zinc, and magnesium by decomposing organic and inorganic nutrients. In this chapter, it will be discussed how beneficial microorganisms contribute to nutrient availability in plants and information about the mechanisms will be given.
