Lifestyle in Heart Health and Disease · Ocak 2018

Özet
Coronary artery disease is the most common and leading cause of death in developed countries. Studies have been focused on the effects of trace elements on human health in recent years, and important information has been obtained in this regard. Oxidative free radicals have important effects in the development of coronary artery disease. Changes in trace element levels have significant effects on the development of atherosclerosis and coronary artery disease, the size of the infarct area, the risk of recurrent acute ischemic coronary artery disease and major cardiovascular events, the risk of death due to major cardiovascular diseases, and the poor prognosis. In this section, the effects of trace elements on the development of atherosclerosis and coronary artery disease, prognosis, and mortality will be explained.
