Urinary human FSH treatment in subfertile males and our results

We administered FSH in 20 infertile patients admitted to GMMA outpatient clinic between 1993-1994. Patients were between 20-35 years old had normal testicular sizes, ejaculate volume (more than 2 ml.) total sperm count above 10.000.000, serum LH, were normal levels. Pathologic result of their testicular biopsy were hyospermatogenesis at all of them. FSH was administered weekly 300 IU for three months. As result we determined statistically meaningful differences between the sperm densities and morphology before and after therapy. We obtained 4 spontaneous pregnancies alter one year. We conclude that higher pregnancy rates with assisted reproductive techniques.
