A SYSTEMS-BASED PATH ANALYSIS OF WORKPLACE BULLING IN HEALTHCARE: IMPACTS ON RESILIENCE, REVENEGE RESPONSES, AND PSYCOLOGICAL DETACHMENT

International Journal on Technical and Physical Problems of Engineering · Haziran 2025

Özet
This study conducts a systems-oriented path analysis to investigate the effects of workplace bullying on resilience, revenge cognition, and psychological detachment among healthcare employees. Using structural modeling techniques on data collected from 315 healthcare professionals, the analysis uncovers key pathways in which workplace bullying contributes to emotional disconnection and cognitive retaliation tendencies both of which can undermine workflow continuity and team performance in clinical environments. Resilience is found to mitigate these risks, suggesting that engineering organizational systems to support psychological well-being may improve safety, reliability, and retention in healthcare institutions. The results underscore the importance of integrating psychosocial engineering considerations into the design of human-centered health systems.
