Treatment of Teeth with Enamel Hypoplasia with Resin Infiltration Method (Icon): A Case Report

The aim of this case report is; It is to explain the treatment of the patient's aesthetic problems due to dental fluorosis with a resin infiltration system with a minimally invasive approach. 31-year-old female patient who applied to our clinic was first treated with microabrasion and after the pits at the enamel level were removed, resin infiltration treatment was applied in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions. A satisfactory result was obtained for the patient immediately after the resin infiltration treatment and in the 6-month follow-up period. Clinically controlled studies are needed to observe the efficacy of this treatment, to determine whether the positive effects of resin infiltration persist for more than six months, and to investigate whether other forms of fluorosis can be treated in this way.
