(Syngenetic gold formations in the metamorphic rocks of Menderes Massif).
Doga Turkish Journal of Engineering Environmental Sciences · Ocak 1986
Özet
Gold mineralizations found in graphitic-quartz schists, quartzite and calcschist type of rocks of quartzitic and pelitic series belonging to 'cover series' of Menderes Massif have been studied. Presence of two different types of gold mineralization is determined in the study area: 1) syngenetic; 2) disseminated and vein. It is concluded that syngenetic type gold mineralization is a new and promising type of gold mineralization in addition to already known sulphide bearing type and plaser type in Menderes Massif and it should be further developed in future gold prospection work that will be held in the Massif. -from English summary
