Waste Dye Removal with Nanotechnological Methods: Photocatalytic Processes
Nanotechnology in the Life Sciences · Ocak 2025
Özet
This chapter discusses how photocatalytic processes using nanotechnology can counteract the harm done to the environment by waste dyestuffs from industry combining with water, soil, and the environment. When waste dyestuffs from the business mingle with soil and drinking water, they pose a serious hazard to life. For this reason, it is of great importance to remove and neutralize waste dyes with the photocatalyst effect of sunlight and the synergistic effect of nanocatalysts synthesized through nanotechnological means. The photocatalysis process is both environmentally friendly and of great importance to living things. This chapter is also informative about photocatalysis research carried out by nanoparticles under the influence of sunlight.
