The Ethics of AI-assisted Wireless Networks: New Frontiers of the New World

The ethical issues surrounding artificial intelligence technologies are grounded in various fundamental principles that inform the design, implementation, and governance of these technologies. Integrating artificial intelligence ethics into organisational structures aims to create systems that are helpful, fair, and respectful of human dignity and autonomy. It is not only what technology can do, but also how and for what purpose it is done. This perspective reveals that artificial intelligence should be developed in a human-centred and responsible manner. In this context, Aristotle’s concept of ethos can be highlighted as a contemporary ethical reference in terms of the acceptance of artificial intelligence systems by people. Ethos, as expressed by Aristotle, emphasises the importance of the speaker’s trustworthiness and moral integrity. The intersection of the moral understanding evoked by this concept with modern artificial intelligence can guide the ethical responsibilities of developers. In conclusion, applying Aristotle’s concept of ethos to the evaluation of artificial intelligence technologies emphasises the need for a holistic approach to ethics in technology. This includes not only technical considerations but also encouraging an ongoing dialogue among stakeholders to align AI systems with the principles of fairness, transparency, and respect for human dignity.
