Aim: The aim of the study is to examine the effect of the quality of life of healthcare workers in the emergency service on perceived stress during the COVID-19 pandemic. Material and Methods: The population of the study consists of 265 people. It was aimed to reach the whole population without sampling and 201 people could be reached. Research data were collected by face-to-face interview method using a questionnaire. The questionnaire form consists of 3 parts: participant information form, COV19-QoLTR scale and perceived stress scale. In the analysis of the data, parametric tests were used with the help of IBM SPSS 27 program. Results: 57.7% of the research participants are women, 47.8% are undergraduates, 63.2% are nurses, 70.6% are working for 5 years or less, and 83.1% are shift workers. In the study, it was observed that the COV19-QoLTR score averages of those who were married, those who were above the average age, and those who had lost a relative due to the pandemic were significantly higher. In addition, it has been revealed that the personnel working in shifts have higher scores on the perceived stress scale than those working in fixed shifts, and the doctors according to the nurses and other health workers. Conclusion: As a result of the study, it was determined that the negative impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the quality of life of emergency health workers significantly affected and increased the perceived stress.
